MICHIGAN @ METS 2011

MICHIGAN WHEEL MARINE will be exhibiting at METS in Amsterdam from 15th to 17th November. This year we have a larger display in a slightly different location on the USA Pavilion in Hall 11, our booth number is11.517 .

METS - 2010
MICHIGAN WHEEL MARINE will again be exhibiting at METS in Amsterdam from 16th to 18th November. We will be located on booth 11.307 in the USA Pavilion.

This year we will be showing some exciting new propeller models, a series of thruster propellers and our standard range of OBSD propellers. We will also have on display typical sterngear propulsion arrangements and cathodic protection components. To complement our own products we will again exhibit the ISOFLEX anti vibration systems which include engine mounts and flexible couplings.

This year we are again at the METS Exhibition in Amsterdam. For 2009 additional RAI Halls will be opened and we will be located in the U.S.A. Pavilion at the front of Hall 11. A comprehensive range of product will be exhibited with a full compliment of Sales and Technical staff in attendance..

Michigan Wheel - Europe is a wholly owned subsidiary of the USA based parent company Michigan Wheel Marine. The Division which is located in the UK was established in 2006 with the primary goal to service and expand its extensive Distribution and Dealer network.

The company is responsible for all European sales and marketing activities together with engineering and technical support services. In addition we have warehousing and workshop facilities where we inventory 3,000+ propellers for a diverse range of Inboard, Outboard and Sterndrive applications.

A NEW MICHIGAN WHEEL DIVISION IN DUBAI

MICHIGAN WHEEL MARINE has now established a new Division based in DUBAI, UAE.

The new company will trade under the name of MICHIGAN WHEEL MARINE – MEAA (Middle East, Africa & Asia) and provide regional service and support for its products to customers throughout the Middle East, Africa and the Sub-continent.

We are pleased to announce the sale of Michigan Wheel Corporation to a newly formed subsidiary of The Anderson Group of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Under Anderson’s ownership, operations at Michigan will continue uninterrupted and management will remain unchanged. The new company will do business under the name MICHIGAN WHEEL MARINE.

Schottle Replacement Units

Michigan Europe has recently completed contracts in Europe to supply a series of replacement propellers for Schottle Transverse Thruster Units. As part of the contract Michigan engineers made on-site visits to survey the original damaged propellers and then take on the design work to enable our manufacturing facility to build the replacements.
