MICHIGAN WHEEL MARINE will be exhibiting at METS in Amsterdam from 15th to 17th November. This year we have a larger display in a slightly different location on the USA Pavilion in Hall 11, our booth number is11.517 .

METS - 2010
MICHIGAN WHEEL MARINE will again be exhibiting at METS in Amsterdam from 16th to 18th November. We will be located on booth 11.307 in the USA Pavilion.

This year we will be showing some exciting new propeller models, a series of thruster propellers and our standard range of OBSD propellers. We will also have on display typical sterngear propulsion arrangements and cathodic protection components. To complement our own products we will again exhibit the ISOFLEX anti vibration systems which include engine mounts and flexible couplings.

This year we are again at the METS Exhibition in Amsterdam. For 2009 additional RAI Halls will be opened and we will be located in the U.S.A. Pavilion at the front of Hall 11. A comprehensive range of product will be exhibited with a full compliment of Sales and Technical staff in attendance..

A NEW MICHIGAN WHEEL DIVISION IN DUBAI Print E-mail

MICHIGAN WHEEL MARINE has now established a new Division based in DUBAI, UAE.

The new company will trade under the name of MICHIGAN WHEEL MARINE – MEAA (Middle East, Africa & Asia) and provide regional service and support for its products to customers throughout the Middle East, Africa and the Sub-continent.

 

Our Corporation President Stan Heide said "Michigan Wheel Marine is very excited to be expanding our presence and taking positive steps towards becoming the leading supplier of Marine Products within our capabilities throughout the world. The opening of our new Dubai office and Warehouse combined with the acquisition of Shearwater Marine Ltd demonstrates our commitment to this goal. With the full support and commitment of our new owners The Anderson Group we look forward to continuing to expand our capabilities and product line offerings."

MICHIGAN WHEEL –MEAA will provide after sales support together with marketing, technical sales and design services which will be complimented by inventory warehousing, workshop and propeller repair station facilities.

 

Product supplies are all propulsion related and include;

  •  Fixed pitch propellers up to 2.80mtr diameter.
  •  Propeller shafting and propulsion systems.
  •  Full range of underwater hardware including struts and rudder assemblies.
  •  Water lubricated cutless bearings up to 250mm diameter.
  •  Comprehensive range of OutBoard and Stern Drive (OBSD) propellers.
  •  Hydraulic steering arrangements.
  •  Water Jet propulsion systems.
  •  Thrusters – Hydraulic and electric.
  •  Nozzles.
  •  Flexible engine mounts and couplings.
  •  Miscellaneous related hardware.

The new Division will be managed by Sreekumar Pillai who has been working in this market for more than 20 years and is well known to all major shipyards in the region.

The opening of the new Division follows the successful establishment of MICHIGAN WHEEL MARINE-EUROPE which was set-up in 2003 and provides a similar service to its network of European customers.
